This 50x50cm contract tile is built to the heavy commercial use wear classification, the class European specifiers write into office, school and public building tenders. A 1/12 inch gauge loop pile at 550 g/sqm keeps the surface dense under trolleys, chairs and cleaning machines, so the floor holds its appearance through years of daily traffic.

The tile is tufted from solution dyed nylon, which carries the colour inside the fibre instead of on top of it. That is why the shade survives commercial detergents and periodic deep cleaning without fading, and why worn modules in corridors can be swapped one by one instead of re-covering a whole floor plate.
