Green building submissions now ask for a declared carbon figure, not a claim. This 50x50cm tile is produced on a recycled bitumen backing, a recovered by-product of crude oil refining, and is supplied with an environmental product declaration so the embodied carbon number can go straight into a CRI material credit file.
The recycled backing is also the reason the tile feels stable underfoot: it is dense, dimensionally reliable and unaffected by normal humidity swings, which keeps the modules flat in buildings where the air conditioning runs to a tight schedule. The 620 g/sqm nylon loop face delivers the wear performance expected in a public building.

Need declared carbon data for a certification submission? Send us the project standard, area and target credits, and we will return the CRI summary and FOB pricing within 12 hours.
Is the recycled content verified?
The bitumen backing is produced from a recovered refinery by-product, and the environmental product declaration sets out the recycled content and embodied carbon figures used in certification submissions.
Does bitumen backing limit installation options?
No. The backing is stable and can be installed with tackifier for access floors or full spread adhesive on solid subfloors, in the same way as other contract tile backings.
