This 50x50 cm carpet tile is built on a 610 g/sqm solution dyed loop pile, so a sustainability-led refit does not have to accept a lower wear class. The yarn is made from recovered waste streams — discarded fishing nets and industrial scrap — and chemically it is the same polymer as virgin nylon, which is why the wear performance holds up rather than being a compromise.

Does recycled nylon wear differently from virgin nylon?

No. The recycled yarn is chemically the same polyamide as virgin nylon, so abrasion resistance, resilience and colour performance are equivalent — the only difference is where the raw material comes from.

Can the colour be matched to an existing scheme?

Yes. The yarn is solution dyed, so custom colours are produced at the fibre stage and matched to a submitted swatch or Pantone reference.
